Canberra City Band and the Ginninderra Wind Orchestra recently collaborated for a combined concert and workshop. We each performed some of the pieces we have been working on and then combined to play Ralph Vaughan Williams 'English Folk Songs Suite'. This is the first time the bands have participated in a friendly event since the 90s as we usually face the GWO on stage at the National Eisteddfod. We throughly enjoyed the concert and hope that there are more in the future. A big thank you to our Musical Director Dr Richard Mason and GWO Director Debbie Masling.
